Rachel Rush has been painting and successfully exhibiting in many of New Zealand’s most prestigious public group exhibitions for many years. She loves the freedom of mixing acrylics with resin as there are no hard rules, to watch each piece take on its own vibrancy and energy is a real joy.

The unofficial story:

I feel absolutely blessed to be doing what I love. I am so lucky to be supported by my family to be an artist - how cool is that.

Now that I have exhibited successfully around the country, I feel that the next phase of my journey is about to commence. Never, though, do I want to forget that it all comes back to the love of art, creating and communicating through colour and light.

The duality of RUSH & Rachel Rush
